Inspired by Japanese aesthetics and ceramics, this hands-on workshop invites you to create a vessel for your favorite warm beverage with local ceramic artist Harmony Nguyen.
In this single-session class, participants may craft a wabi-sabi–inspired tea set, a matcha cup with whisk holder, or—perfect for coffee lovers—a Nerikomi pour-over and cup depending on which workshop you sign up for.
Enjoy a glimpse of the teahouse in the Japanese Garden during your visit, adding to the immersive experience. All materials are provided, and finished pieces will be available for pickup at a later date. Participants are welcome to register for one, two, or all of the ceramic workshops to create your collection.
