Return to the River 2025
I was invited to do live painting at Return to the River, a FREE music and arts festival hosted by Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. The festival takes place during the 3rd weekend of August. the riverwalk, 555 Monroe, Sixth Street Park and the Sixth Street Bridge were buzzing with live music, stunning art and a wide variety of activities for all ages. The free festival provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy the parks and riverwalk and connect with the Downtown Grand Rapids community.
This years theme was magic and myths, my mural was deeply inspired by Miyozaki and Studio Ghibli
